Bryan Black
Guest Trainer: Anatomy, Biomechanics
RYT 200hr, Threes Physiyoga 100hr
TEACHING BACKGROUND:
I have been teaching yoga for 15 years.
I teach Deep Flow and Gentle Flow (alignment-based Vinyasa/Mobility Flow).
My notable certifications and specialized trainings include 200hr YTT, 100hr Threes Physiyoga (Yoga & Physical Therapy), FRC, and Kinstretch.
WHAT DO YOU HOPE TRAINEES GAIN FROM YOUR PORTION OF THE TRAINING?
I hope to help trainees understand the scope of their practice and display confidence and basic comprehension of anatomy, joint health, and movement patterns. I aim to create a pathway for students to continue exploring their knowledge of physiology.
DESCRIBE YOUR TEACHING STYLE:
My creative alignment-based classes integrate music, philosophy, poetry, mobility, and meditation. My intention is for students to walk away from my classes not just with a deeper connection to their bodies, but a deeper connection to the world around them.
WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE GRASSROOTS YOGA COMMUNITY?
I contribute humor, kindness, and a love for education.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT YOU:
I love hiking, surfing, being out in the sun, and exploring the mountains and national parks.
